On-Line Photo Opt-Out Form
BSA Troop 119 - Peabody Ma
In an effor to make the Troop 119 web site more dynamic and interesting, a photo gallery has
been created using various photos taken over time. To protect Scouts privacy, the Leaders of
Troop 119 who maintain the web site have developed rules that will be followed when posting images to the on-line gallery.
The Leaders of the Troop take the safety of our Scouts very seriously.
- A user name and password will not be required to access the gallery. This means that
the pictures are viewable by anyone.
- All pictures will be reviewed by the webmaster to ensure they reflect well on the BSA and Troop 119.
- If a caption is associated with a picture, only a Scout's first name will ever be used. This is the
same rule that used throughout the entire web site.
- Parents and Scouts do have the option to request that an image is not included in the site.
These are the rules that will be used when posting pictures to the web. The Leaders of Troop 119 will not be asking
permission to post images to the gallery. Unless the Leaders receive an opt-out form, expect that photos of your Scout
may appear on the web site.
We give parents the choice to opt-out of the photo gallery in full. If you wish for images of your Scout (and possibly
yourself) to not be on the web site, please print out this form, sign it, and return it to the Scoutmaster.
